Welcome to the Peitler Chalet

Wake up and look out of the window over the former barn entrance for the Peitler Chalet and up into the magnificent heights of the Reitereck. Walk barefoot over the natural, oiled Swiss pine floors. The woody scent fills the Alm hut.

You breathe deeply. This is somewhere you can really relax.

The Peitler Chalet was developed a few years ago, when a former herdsman's hut was transformed with loving care into this delightful space. The authentic wooden elements were retained and high-quality natural materials installed where additions were necessary. The chalet has three double rooms with room for 6 people altogether. You can cook on the wood stove, which creates a lovely cosy atmosphere in the original kitchen. However, an electric cooker, dishwasher, freezer and washing machine are also available to keep your holiday as uncomplicated as possible. An atmospheric living room has plenty of space for you to relax and socialise.

Highlight: bedroom with an idyllic view

A particularly spacious room in the top floor of the house is THE sought-after bedroom. From the double bed, gaze out over the old barn entrance ramp at the towering heights of the Reitereck, the Stern and the Girlitsch.

Idyllic, yet central

Even though you're up on the Alm, the location is remarkably central. It only takes you 15 minutes to get to our little village of Rennweg, where you will find inns, shops and even a swimming pool. Lake Millstatt, a glorious Carinthian lake with swimming areas, is just 30 minutes away. You can walk to the Pöllatal, which is great for kids. The Katschberg is a family-friendly ski area that you can reach in 15 minutes.
