About Us
Our specials: a getaway for couples, a family holiday, travelling solo or with friends - everyone will find what he or she is looking for in our cosy mountain cabin “Peitlerhütte”. The cabin consists of three double rooms. It features a shower, toilet, running warm and cold water, electricity produced by our own hydroelectric power station and photovoltaic system (climate-neutral), a kitchen with wood-fired stove, electric cooker and gas oven, a comfortable living room with couch, satellite TV and tiled stove. Of course, enough fire wood is provided. Thanks to a spacious meadow with large seating area, panorama swings and campfire spot, you’ll find everything you could possibly desire for your romantic break. A lot of hiking trails and country walks lead you from the cabin across our beautiful, pristine alpine pastures. A special highlight for early birds and mountain lovers: the sunrise on top of the mountain Stern. There’s nothing better than a refreshing dip in Lake Luckasee after a demanding hike. Those who want to take it easy can go on a nice country walk and bask in the sun on one of our wildflower meadows.
Fresh milk and butter from cows grazing on the alpine pastures, bread, cheese, herb cheese, natural yoghurt, white cheese, sausages, ... can be purchased at the mountain cabin “Wansingalm” nearby.
The mountain cabin “Wansingalm” is located near the “Peitlerhütte”.
There, 30 dairy cows are milked from May to October.
This means, that you can get fresh milk and a lot of other delicious dairy products there.
A lot of animals can be visited at the “Wansingalm”: dairy cows, young cattle, calves, goats, guinea pigs, cat, ...
