About Us
The Plattnerhof is located on a sunny plateau on the Umlberg in Terfens/ Tyrol, which has a population of about 100 - 25km away from the regional capital Innsbruck. The farm is about 3km from the village centre, where there is a cafe, the Gasthof "Waldhof" and the "Weißlahn" bathing lake with a tennis and volleyball court. The location, right on the edge of the forest offers a good base for lots of varied walks, for example to the "Granalm" and to the "Hintorhornalm".
On our farm we keep lots of animals: cows, calves, pigs, hens, Indian ducks, rabbits, 2 ponies and lots of cats. The holiday apartment, from which you can enjoy a magnificent view of the valley of the Inn, is about 45m away from the farmhouse.
Our farm includes 17 hectares of meadow, of which 9 hectares are rented and 8 hectares are woodland. We mostly carry out livestock and dairy farming and also cultivate table potatoes. From the fruits in our orchard we produce Tyrolean organic spirits of various kinds.

Location: 840m above sea level. The Plattnerhof is located on a sunny plateau on the Umlberg in Terfens/ Tyrol, which has a population of about 100. (25km away from the regional capital Innsbruck). A cross-country ski trail is about 3km away from us. A great toboggan run to Terfens invites you to enjoy some fun tobogganing. Movement in cross-country skiing, long forest walks, fill your tanks with peace and recreation on the sunny Umlberg. Then, back here at the farm, the kids will also love enjoying themselves with the many animals in the barn.
On our farm we keep many animals: cows, calves, hens, Indian ducks, rabbits, 2 ponies and lots of cats. We are happy to welcome three new animals to the farm. The llama Konrad, alpaca Filu and alpaca Gustaf.

On the Plattnerhof farm there live a whole variety of animals. Besides the 19 cows and 3 ponies, there live on the farm 3 miniature goats, 2 rabbits ,1 Lama , 2 Alpakas and some cats, hens and ducks. Children can ride for free on the ponies, Nelly and Julie.
