About Us
With a playground and small animals to pet!
In our lovingly constructed holiday house we make it possible for you to enjoy a life in harmony with nature, including a “snack garden” as well as milk and eggs from the farm.
We have placed great emphasis on sustainable, healthy construction. For example, 100% of the wood in the attic comes from our own forest. Enjoy the unique views here on the sunny side of Mariapfarr as you live true to our motto “feel*experience*enjoy”.
Benefit from the ideal location of our farm: restful peace and quiet on the one hand, on the other, so central that you are just a few minutes away from the town center with its many shopping opportunities, restaurants, pilgrimage church, as well as Vitalzentrum Samsunn with its sauna and outdoor pool, the cross-country center and the Kirchnerhof Icelandic Stables.
Our guests also get to enjoy 3 hours every day at Wellnesscenter Samsunn for free, with a variety of saunas as well as an outdoor pool!
While the children have all kinds of fun on our new playground, where there is plenty of space for them just to be “kids”, their parents get to sit out on the balcony or terrace and quietly watch. At the Kirchnerhof Riding Stables (just 5 min away by car), with whom we have a close cooperation, we are more than happy to book riding lessons or a trail ride on your behalf.
Along with our high-quality, comfortable holiday apartments, we are also happy to provide the following services:
- Equipment for children (cribs/cots, high chair, baby monitor, bottle warmer) free
- Use of the washing machine and dryer for an additional fee
- Ski room with large washbasin and boot dryer
- Breakfast roll delivery service
- Upon request, we are happy to deliver a breakfast basket, filled with our own as well as regional products, right to the front door of your apartment, allowing you to enjoy a quiet breakfast within your own 4 walls.

About Us
In our lovingly furnished and designed holiday house, you are able to experience a life in harmony with nature including a “snack garden”, along with milk and eggs free from the farm!
Completely relaxed, surrounded by the unique nature of the Lungau Biosphere Reserve, you are able to enjoy the unique scenery and central location of our farm, true to our motto “feel*experience*enjoy”.
From here, you can actually see the Fanningberg, Speiereck and Aineck-Katschberg ski areas, while they are only 15 to 30 minutes’ drive away. The Obertauern ski area is also barely 30 to 40 minutes by car. Enjoy various outdoor winter activities, from ice-skating and sledding to sleigh rides and snowshoeing.
The Liegnitz Cross-Country Center, which features laser biathlon as well as flood-lighting after dark, is likewise just 5 minutes from here.
For the youngsters, farmer Hans uses his tractor to plow out a small sledding track on the meadow right in front of our newly constructed holiday house. Build a snowman in our own garden, play in the snow, build forts, what could be more wonderful for a child!

Living on our farm, 11 different animal species, 73 animals in total, all of whom have a name, look forward to meeting our guests, especially the youngsters! We are also happy to tell you all about our two- and four-legged friends, plus you will have an opportunity to look after them personally. Our new Dwarf Farm, which is currently being built, is certain to thrill the kids, not least because our small animals there crave lots of love and affection.
