About Us
Spend a relaxing holiday in our renovated farmhouse. The cosy and lovingly furnished farmhouse (self-catering cabin) lies on a steep sunny slope, in a secluded location, at the edge of the forest at 1,300 m above sea level.
The quiet Roanerhütte lies on a WWF meadow. You will find many varieties of rare, protected plants on this protected natural meadow.
Enjoy the peace and quiet and relax away from the stress of every day life. Discover the beauty and natural wonder of the Wölzertal, together with your family. Visit Oberwölz, the smallest town in the Steiermark, and hike into the Wölzertal valley along one of the themed hiking trails.
Let the day draw to a romantic close beside a crackling camp fire or the crackling of the wood-burning stove in the kitchen/living room.
Our farm is approx. 1 km from the Roanerhütte. You are welcome to bring your family to visit the animals. Our cats and farm dog Lucy are particularly fond of being petted.

Enjoy the peace and quiet and relax away from the stress of every day life. Together with your family, discover the beauty of the Wölzertal. Visit Oberwölz, the smallest town in Steiermark and enjoy skiing in Lachtal. The Lachtal ski resort is approx. 12 km from our cabin.
Let the cold winter's day draw to a romantic close next to the crackling wood-burning stove in the kitchen/living room.

In winter the Roaner cabin is only accessible with snow chains.
