About Us
Welcome to the Roath-Hof !
We offer the following on a self-catering basis: A holiday home for 6 persons (awarded 3 flowers) a large traditional farmhouse for 14 persons in a family atmosphere, quiet and sunny location, far removed from noise and any hustle and bustle. Many idyllic hiking trails straight from the farm, lots of open spaces around the house. You can fish for trout, taste our pine schnapps (made according to an old recipe) On the farm: children's playground with swing, slide, pedal tractor with trailer, table tennis, a natural bowling alley, darts, barbecue and sun loungers. You are also able to get acquainted with life and work on a farm. Cows, cats, calves and rabbits will be an unforgettable memory for your children. An extensive weekly programme in the music and hiking region MURAU (guided mountain tours, herb walks, creative activities such as: felt making, handiwork with hay, ...), gathering berries and mushrooms, forest nature trails, alpine experience trail, the legends trail, mountain biking (the Styrian alp tour runs right by the farm).

We offer the following on a self-catering basis: Dorfer cabin for 6 persons and a traditional farmhouse for 14 persons with a friendly atmosphere, quiet and sunny location. Next door you can learn about the life and work on our operational farm (milk cows, calves).
A choice of 3 wonderful ski areas: Lachtal (children's Lachtal) - FREE SKI BUS FROM OBERWÖLZ -(also right from the farm for an additional fee); Kreischberg and Grebenzen, all approx. 22 km away. Winter activities: Directly from the farm you can have your first try at skiing, or speed down the hill on a bobsleigh or sledge. Numerous idyllic hiking trails through forests covered in deep snow. In the ski regions the following are on offer: Cross-country skiing, tobogganing, Bavarian curling, carving, snowboarding, guided snowshoeing and much more.....
The farmer's market is on Fridays in Murau and St.Peter; Saturdays in Neumarkt, where farmers sell their products directly, e.g. smoked ham, sausage, cheese, butter, bread etc.
