About Us
We are looking forward to increasing your awareness. Perhaps you’ll be able to connect with your 6th sense? We recommend aroma therapy on our farm. Do you remember how lemon balm smells or how a piece of apple strudel from the oven tastes like? At our place, you’ll get to taste the culinary side of a farm from breakfast to dinner. Our products are made in a traditional and authentic way.
You’ll be amazed by Austria’s highest mountain Großglockner and by the Hohe Tauern National Park. The mountain village Heiligenblut is not far from our place.
The long distance hiking trail “Alpe-Adria trail” takes you from the foot of Austria’s highest mountain, Großglockner, via Carinthia’s most beautiful mountains and lakes to Italy, Slovenia and further to the Adriatic coast, to Muggia.
The rooms are sunlit, spacious and come with solid timber furniture. Every room has an en-suite bathroom with shower, toilet, hair dryer, make-up mirror and satellite TV. A herbal pillow allows you to doze off in peace and quiet.
You can acquire the guest card “Kärnten Card” at the municipal office of Rangersdorf or at the Winklern toll tower. It’s your key to action, fun and lots of discounts. It opens the door to more than 100 attractions in Carinthia including cable cars, scenic drives, museums, public pools and much more. You can visit them as often as you like.
The guest card “Kärnten Card”allows you to explore the entire holiday region in the Hohe Tauern National Park without spending much money.
About Us
Our farm is located near 5 ski resorts.
- Mölltal glacier: a 20 minutes’ drive to the base station of the cable car, skiing is possible until May, altitudes of 3,000+ m, 53 km of pistes, all levels of ability (blue, red and black), longest descent: 7 km
- Heiligenblut am Großglockner: a 25 minutes’ drive to Heiligenblut, 13 lifts, a total 55 km of pistes, all levels of ability, 25 ha of backcountry skiing area
- Ankogel: only a 25 minutes’ drive to the base station of the cable car, 35 km of pistes, all levels of ability (blue, red and black), longest descent: 7 km
- Sunny ski resort Zetterfeld and Hochstein: only a 25 minutes’ drive to the base station of the cable car, a total of 30 km of pistes, longest black piste in the Alps, pistes for all levels of ability, 50 ha of backcountry skiing area
Our farm is located at the borders of the Hohe Tauern National Park where you can join guided snow shoeing and ski tours with national park rangers.
The Hohe Tauern National Park region that spans from the mountain Großglockner to the Ankogel guarantees prime skiing fun to altitudes of max. 3,122 m above sea level. And more!
