the smell of fresh hay in the air,
a fine mountain air breeze on your cheeks
and a panorama that leaves nothing to be desired...
THIS is your holiday at the SCHAUERHOF
Our organic mountain farm is situated at the heart of the Zirbitzkogel-Grebenzen Nature Park at 1100m above sea level.
Great and small – young and old will find recuperation and adventure alike with us. Sensing, enjoying and rediscovering nature means heading to one of the countless hiking paths that lead directly past the farm.
Our spaciously designed children's playground will thrill young hearts - whether sliding, swinging or jumping on the trampoline. Adults too will get their money's worth with penalty shoot-outs, with a basketball hoop also available for shooting some hoops.
Those that prefer things a little quieter can relax on the private balcony of the holiday apartment or on the bench under our lime tree, directly next to the separate farm chapel.

Warming sun rays on the face will delight the soul.
A fresh winter breeze will invigorate body, mind and soul.
Snow-white meadows and woods (depending on the weather) will enchant young and old.
Our organic farm lies at 1100m above sea level in the heart of the Zirbitzkogel-Grebenzen Nature Park. Those that want to soak up the sun in winter will be in the perfect place with us - thanks to our south-west hillside location.
If desired, we can put together a breakfast basket with homemade and regional delicacies for you. Simply choose your desired products from a list the day before and the next morning, the packed breakfast basket will be waiting at your apartment door. After all, what is cosier than starting the day relaxed in a sleeping bag or balcony and with some fresh energy?
Pack your waterproof trousers and welly boots, and get down to the Schauerhof, where milking cows, watering calves and petting cats is part of everyday life.
