About Us
Welcome to the Schieplechnerhof!
We, the Knaus family, would like to welcome you to our organic farm in the heart of Rohrmoos-Untertal. The quietly located courtyard, embedded in a beautiful mountain landscape, promises you a relaxing and relaxing holiday in the middle of nature. Let the peace work on you and you will spend the most beautiful hours with us at the farm.
Our location is perfect for getting into the seemingly endless hiking world in summer as well as in winter, but the next ski lift is only a 10 minute drive from our house. The bus stop is approx. 300m from the house and you can easily reach the numerous excursion destinations in summer with the hiking bus and in winter with the ski bus.
In addition to the large playground for children, the petting animals and the newly built grill station, we have an houseown archery course at our farm, where beginners and experienced archery get their money's worth in summer and enjoy the day with lots of fun and excitement on the beautiful parcours nature can spend. You will receive professional training and rental equipment from us. From 3 nights in summer you can use our in-house archery course at the Schieplechnerhof free of charge once per person. In addition, the Schladming-Dachstein Sommercard is already included in the price for free in summer and you can use the card for free or at a reduced rate to over 100 attractions in our region.
Our modern and fully equipped apartments, which make your vacation homely and cozy, offer a relaxing atmosphere. They are all equipped with a balcony, where you can enjoy the view of the beautiful mountain landscape and the Dachstein massif.
With the free WiFi, you don't have to do without the Internet on vacation.
Regardless of whether you spend your vacation alone, as a couple, with friends or with your family at our farm, you will always think back to us with a smile.

About Us
Our house is located in the middle of the 4-mountain ski area Schladming-Dachstein, in just a few minutes you are on the ski slopes. In total, the 4 connected mountains Reiteralm, Hochwurzen, Planai and Hauser Kaibling offer 123 kilometers of slopes and promise a unique day of skiing. The cozy ski huts with their sun terraces provide a stop for a break and make your day unforgettable. The ski bus stop is only approx. 300m from the house and the ski bus takes you comfortably to the gondola station.
Off the slopes there are plenty of activities that will make your winter vacation something special. Especially the winter hiking trails and snowshoe hiking trails in the Untertal or Obertal lead you in the middle of a snow-covered winter landscape. Also in the Untertal, not far from our house, are the crystal trails, which ensure a classic but also a skating trail for cross-country skiers.
The 7 km long toboggan run on the Hochwurzen provides for action, which is open for you not only during the day but also in the evening and is illuminated.
For the romantics and connoisseurs, a ride in a horse-drawn carriage through the wintry landscape to a quaint parlor is just the thing.

The Knaus family
On our farm we want to guide you back to the origin. With all your senses, you can experience and enjoy our farm.
The ducks and chickens cackling around the yard and looking for fresh food are unmistakable. All around our farm the Valais black-nosed sheep Sissy, Betty and Karli take care of well-tended green areas and plaster the fresh herbs and grasses. Their soft wool invites you to stroke and teaches you how soft a sheep's wool is.
On the sunny spots, our cats Rambo and Lucky make themselves comfortable and are available for cuddling units. The rabbits see you in their own rabbit ranch and they are happy to be petted.
Our big oxen spend their summers on the alpine pasture, where they are supplied with the fresh mountain herbs and come back to our farm in the autumn strengthened.
Smell and taste the freshly cut hay, the wonderful mountain air and the wonderful variety of flowers and herbs around our farm. Experience nature without noise, in all its diversity and beauty and be aware that this is something special.
