    About Us

    Our view from Klausenberg over the lake is bound to inspire you. From here you can start a bicycle tour to Seewinkel, to the Kirschblütenweg in Donnerskirchen, to the Ruster Höhenweg or straight to the lake. The Neusiedler See Card has numerous other enticing attractions. The most modern comfortable rooms await you, each decorated with art, culture and life style themes of Burgenland.

    Outside you are spoilt by the panoramic view of the landscape, whilst inside you have our high-tech seminar room. In the evening enjoy a tasting of our award-winning wine in our spacious cellar.     Our vineyards are located in between the Leitha Mountains and the most northern point of Lake Neusiedl. They cover approx. 13 hectares and have an excellent south-facing location on a hill. The soil is made up mostly of shale with shell limestone sediments as well as clay soil, where high-quality wine thrives. The soil is biodynamically (crimson clover) worked to preserve the natural balance of the grape and to improve quality. The vineyards are cultivated with nature and quality in mind and our grapes are selected by hand.

    Traditional regional vines are grown in our vineyards, such as Welschriesling, Zweigelt and Blaufränkisch. But our range also includes Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, Shiraz and Carbernet Sauvignon. On top of which we also have Frizzante and grape juice. Our chocolate wine is also included in the assortment.
