Welcome to the Sonnleit’n in Abtenau, about 1.5 km from the village center.

At our own inn and our farm shop, we offer natural products either home-produced or from farms in the immediate region. Here at our farm, you can also take a look behind the scenes at how cheese is manufactured. In addition, you can be your own baker and make your very own bread in a wood-fired oven.

We offer you four individually designed holiday apartments as well as double rooms. Immerse yourself completely in the rural lifestyle. In some cases with antique furniture combined with modern comforts and conveniences.

On the grounds of our farm, there are still several former Troadkasten, granaries that have been remodeled into comfortable hut accommodations. Here, you can unwind completely and forget the stresses of daily life.

In summer, the region around Abtenau offers an astonishing array of hiking and biking routes. Other sporting activities are also offered in the area, including rock climbing and horseback riding. On hot summer days, a visit to the outdoor pool in Abtenau is an absolute must.

Winter in Abtenau promises a very diverse program. The Sonnleitn lifts are right next to our farm and ideal for beginners, families and children. In total, there are three platter lifts in sunny locations, for the use of big and small. After a successful day of skiing, we look forward to having you visit our inn.

The Tennengau region is a paradise for ski tourers. Cross-country ski trails and snowshoeing routes also await you.
