About Us
You will experience a relaxed atmosphere in beautiful surroundings on your holiday at the Steinbauer farm in Ramsau. Our farm is in a sunny and quiet location surrounded by green meadows and healthy forests at an altitude of 1120 m. Just what you need to enjoy your life and forget everyday stresses. Children's well-being is very important to us. They can play on the playground with sandbox, climbing frame, slide, trampoline and in the surrounding meadows, go go-karting, take a ride on the ponies and Haflinger horses or help out in the barn. There's always something to do here, and when children are busy, parents get more out of their holiday. We offer: Horse-drawn carriage rides, table tennis, spacious lawn, paddling pool, garden house, and for bad weather we have books, videos, computer, Internet, game room and lots of cards and board games. Please do not smoke in the house.
About Us
Have an unforgettable holiday in a friendly atmosphere amid beautiful scenery, in a sunny and particularly quiet spot, surrounded by the fairytale winter landscapes. Guest well-being, particularly of the children, is extremely important to us. The children can play about in the snow and at the play tower, or ride the ponies. The nearest ski lift with ski school is approx. 1.5 km away. We can lend you toboggans and cross country skis (free of charge), while the cross country track (150 km Ramsau cross country ski network) can be reached from the house via our own trail (300 m). Other activities include sleigh rides through the beautiful winter landscapes of the Ramsau or an excursion with our Haflinger horses. Get your day off to a strong start with a generous breakfast, and for dinner we will serve up traditional Austrian country cooking with organic pork and beef. We kindly ask you not to smoke in the house!
The milk is from our own cows, and bread, butter, cottage cheese, spreads and jams are homemade. Even the beef and pork comes from our own animals, many herbs and vegetables come from our garden, and some we buy at the weekly farmers' market.
On our farm, animals are not just for looking at. You can milk the cows, take water to the calves, feed the pigs, pet the sheep, go horse riding or take the horse-drawn carriage, groom and ride the ponies, catch the rabbits, cuddle the cats and find kittens in the hay.
There's always something to do.
