About Us

STEINERHOF – Discover and experience the natural world with your family!

Relax in our over400-year-old farmhouse , awarded 4 flowers!

The Steinerhof lies surrounded by meadows, forest and pastures, nestling among natural surroundings managed by the farmer's hand. Look forward to an extraordinarily beautiful landscape and a cosy, friendly farm! Relax in lovingly furnished family rooms and apartments , in which we have carefully combined tradition and modernity.

In winter the Steinerhof offers everything the heart desires! Whether snowball fights, building snowmen, snow cavesand igloos, or our private sledge run, guests of all ages will find something to love! Our 4 children aged between 4 and 14 will be great playmates for your children! Relax in our wooden pine saunaafter a wonderfulday's skiing at Kreischberg or head out on a cosysnowshoe hike.

Our kittens tumble about all over the farm, particularly Herkules and Lilli, our child-friendly farm dog Aikaand the two mini horses Camelot and Milito.

We look forward to providing you with the backdrop for a wonderful holiday.

HOLIDAY AT THE STEINERHOF – CLOSER TO NATURE – CLOSER TO LIFE!

Our two mother cows Simone and Seppa graze contentedly with their calvesat Steinerhof. From mid-May to September, our young oxen grow up on our own alpine pasture to become magnificent alpine oxen.

Aika our child-friendly farm dog is a German shepherd Bernersennen mix and will be 5 years old on 15th August. Her friendly and very gentle nature is typical of our Aika! She is always friendly and loves to be stroked by both big and little guests.

On our farm our cats Emelie, Wuschel, and Bärli play about with their young ones, Herkulessa and Liliour little cats and Petzi the black farm tom cat, who is the only one allowed into the farmhouse.

Our rabbits Pünktchen and Anton hop about with their babies in the green grass and nibble at the fresh clover.

Camelot and Milito are our two mini Shetland ponies and have been living on the farm since June 2011. Both are one year old and come from the mini Shetland pony stud farm "Sophienhof" in Marchfeld www.sophienhof.at

Freddy and Spike are the names of our two, well-fed pigs who enjoy their feed of fresh grass each day with loud grunts of delight!

At Steinerhof you can enjoy fresh farm bread, eggs from free-range hens, home-made sausages and smoked ham, jams made from our own fruit and various juices.

Our fully refurbished holiday house offers you a measure of relaxing luxury!

On the first floor there are three bedrooms, two double rooms - each with high-quality arolla pine beds - a sofa bed and a balcony, one room with two bunk beds – ideal for children – a bathroom with double washbasins, a towel dryer, shower, WC and a spacious antechamber.

The ground floor consists of a bedroom with high-quality arolla pine bed, a bathroom with washbasin, towel dryer, shower, WC, antechamber, a fully equiped kitchen with stunning views of the Kreischberg mountain, a large living room with TV and WiFi, which opens onto a 20m2 south-facing terrace, allowing you to take a sunbath also in winter, and which leads directly to the 750m2 property. In the basement there is a ski storage place with ski shoe dryer, an extra WC/Pissoir, a large cloakroom and a washing machine.

Up to four cars cen be parked directly in front of the holiday house.
