Are you also longing for a break from the busy and demanding routine? Are you looking for a place where you can feel at ease, find inner peace and reconnect with nature? In our chalets “Steinerhof”, you’ll stay at the edge of a forest, surrounded by nature and the smell of the forest only - indoors and outdoors.
All our chalets are sustainable timber frame buildings with wood from our own forests. All four tree species have been cut according to the phases of the moon.
As you step inside, the aroma of spruce, pine and larch welcomes you. It has a positive health effect. The scent of wood brings deep relaxation, is a mood booster, encourages a peaceful sleep and makes you feel secure and at home.
Our chalets are comfortable, modern and furnished with great care. Delicate colours and natural materials create a pleasant ambience. Three bedrooms accommodate 6 to 8 people. The ground floor is fully accessible. Sunlit rooms evoke comfort and warmth - perfect for a light-hearted holiday with your family or your friends.
Family time becomes quality time here! The comfortable terrace boasts a breathtaking view of Carinthia’s diverse landscapes and a private sauna.
Indoor Spa - Your Private Oasis of Well-Being
The spacious wellness bathroom is your private getaway. Indulge yourself in a warm bath or maximise relaxation in our Infrared sauna made by Physiotherm. Some like it hot and love dripping sweat in the private sauna with panoramic nature view. After the shower, you can fully relax in the comfortable lounger. We are happy to organise a soothing massage on request.

Locally grown and seasonal food are more than words for us in Carinthia. Here, you can taste the authentic, natural flavours of food that’s produced on small family farms and try culinary delights that are typical for the local cuisine.
Enjoy hearty leg bacon and strong cheese, fresh bread with a crispy crust, home-made yoghurt, delicious jam, natural honey, vegetables from the garden and crisp fruit, aromatic and tangy herbs, traditional cakes and desserts from the farmer’s kitchen, freshly prepared meals from the local tavern, sweet ice cream produced on the farm, fruity apple juice, fine, high-proof fruit spirits, ...
On request, we are happy to prepare a breakfast box with selected products, arrange a basket with culinary delights for your dinner or fill the fridge with locally grown food before your arrival. Bakery delivery on request
Our farm is home to lots of dairy cows and calves. Each of them has an individual name. Our Noriker mare “Zamira”, our Icelandic mare “Fjola” and our donkey couple “Nikita” and “Lupo” are looking forward to some tender loving care. Our dwarf goats and dwarf sheep can’t wait to meet you! So do the cute pygmy bunnies. Our chicken provide you with fresh eggs for breakfast. And our cats simply love to snuggle with you.
