About Us
Welcome to our farm “Stinig-Hof” in the idyllic mountain village of Kaning!
Holidays with the whole family! Relax, energise, recharge your batteries and get to know life on a farm. Leave the stresses and strains of everyday life behind and go on a farm holiday! At our farm, those who seek the silence will find peace and those who’d like to get active will find outdoor activities. Nature, a beautiful mountain scenery, clean air and hiking trails as far as your feet can take you...
Mini Shetland ponies, crested ducks, chicken, bunnies, dwarf sheep, cats, pigs and cows that are not violet. Collect your egg for breakfast in the henhouse yourself and romp on the playground next to the apartment - what more could a child possibly long for?
Our farm is set at an altitude of 1,070 m in the village centre of Kaning. The holiday apartment in our 400-year-old building was lovingly renovated. It was furnished with a passion for detail and sleeps up to five people. The comfortable wooden terrace is an inviting place to sit down, relax and unwind in peace and tranquillity.
What to Do in the Surroundings: Themed trail “Kaninger Mühlenwanderweg” along old mills with a local history museum (“Türkhaus”) along the way, walk “Kaninger Banklweg”, gemstone museum “Granatium”, “Sagamundo”, alpine zoo in Feld am See, hiker’s paradise Langalmtal valley in the Nockberge Biosphere Reserve, ski lifts and thermal baths in Bad Kleinkirchheim, scenic drive “Nockalmstraße”, lakes Millstätter See, Brennsee and Afritzersee, and much more.

About Us
Winter Magic
There’s enough space around the house to build snow men, engage in epic snow ball fights or whizz down the slop on a toboggan or sledge. We provide sleds, snow saucers and snowshoes for free.
Walking in the snow-covered winter wonderland is a pure delight!
The ski resort Bad Kleinkirchheim is only a 20 minutes’ drive. Perfectly groomed pistes, cross-country ski trails and a toboggan run await you there.
We bake fresh bread once a week. You can collect your egg for breakfast from the henhouse yourself.
On Friday afternoon, there’s a farmer’s market in the market hall in Radenthein where you can buy products from local farmers.
Our farm is home to a herd of suckler cows (Pinzgauer and Pustertaler Sprinzen) with their calves, cute and fluffy lop rabbits, cheeky pigs, crested ducks (in summer with their ducklings), our rooster Fridolin with his hens, funny dwarf sheep, cuddly mini Shetland ponies and Lotta, our cat.
Our cows and their calves spend summer on our alpine pastures. We can go there and visit them together. The other animals spend summer on our farm. They’re always excited when someone feeds or pets them!
