Stay right next to the ski slopes!

Get up in the morning and see the snow sparkle on the freshly groomed sloped. Take breakfast at sunrise. These are only some of the moments that will make you marvel during a stay in our newly built mountain cabin “Stoichart”.

The mountain cabin is set at an altitude of 1,650 right next to the ski slopes in the family-friendly ski resort “Hochrindl” in the Gurktal Alps. Enjoy a relaxing getaway for two or a family holiday - our mountain cabin “Stoichart” is the perfect place for both.

The cabin was built in 2018 by local craftsmen who used locally sourced materials. We have put great emphasis on sustainable building standards. We used locally sourced timber, installed pellet heating and provide drinking water from our private spring.

The cabin consists of two bedrooms made with Austrian stone pine that sleep a max. of 6 people. The kitchen was tailor-made by a carpenter from the neighbouring village. There’s one toilet on the ground and one on the first floor. The bathroom comes with bathtub and shower. On request, we provide a cot (additional fee applies). Linen and towels are provided for free.

The Hochrindl region is known for its beautiful scenery which attracts adults and children in summer and winter alike. Quickly put on your skis and off you go zig-zagging down the slopes. In summer, relaxation starts as you step outside and set out on a country walk.

After a day out skiing or hiking in the great, you’ve got some exercise. Now, it’s time to relax as you take in the breathtaking view of the valley or get cosy next to the chimney in the living and dining room.
