Experience the vacation of your dreams in Mariapfarr - the sunniest location in Austria - in the middle of SalzburgerLand. At the Ulnhof farm we cater to children and babies with a new playground, lots of animals, plenty of room for running around and a comfortable, sunny patio for the parents. Fresh milk and Brotchen (crusty rolls) are available upon request. We have our own alm, which you are welcome to visit with your host. When staying with us between May and October you will receive the Lungau Card at no additional cost. This card will give you free access and discounts, including free use of the local mountain trains and free entry to the public pools. Hiking trails will take you through gentle valleys, up into the fascinating mountain environment, past mountain creeks and crystal-clear lakes, all the way up to the summit. Beautiful lakes and ancient alm cabins are some of the sights you will enjoy.A well-designed network of biking and hiking trails, including the Murradweg, will take you on a meandering path along meadows and forests. You may also hike our ski resorts during the summer. Or, instead of hiking, relax and take the cable car up to the Fanningberg, the Speiereck, or to the Obertauern. The newly built wellness center "Samsunn", located in Mariapfarr, includes a comfortable sauna area with an outdoor swimming pool. This is just a small sample of the many activities available during a summer vacation in Lungau.

About Us
Winter in Lungau, in the middle of SalzburgerLand, is not for couch potatoes. Get ready to have fun in the snow in Mariapfarr! Surf, glide or carve you way down a snowy wave on the Fanningberg, Speiereck, Aineck or Obertauern mountains. Modern cable cars bring you up to the highest point. Snowy forests, mountains and valleys touched by the magic of winter – this is the way to enjoy peaceful, idyllic moments during your winter vacation.
A romantic, birch-lined avenue covered in deep snow leads from our village of Althofen directly into Mariapfarr. During the winter you will have the opportunity to experience and enjoy many additional activities such as sledding, ice-skating, horseback riding in the snow, carriage rides, snowshoeing and guided tours. Or just stay at the Ulnhof and relax!

Our farm includes dairy cows, calves, pigs,pony, cats, and sheep. Since the animals go to the high alm during the summer, guests will have the opportunity to go "check on the animals" with the owner.
