Enjoy your holidays on our organic mountainfarm Untermoos in Gries, in the Taxenbach region. Get to know life on the farm, which we have been running for 5 generations since 1919.
Our farm is situated...:
on a sunny spot on Großsonnberg, 950m above sea level in Taxenbach/Gries
From here we look at the mountains of the Nationalpark Hohe Tauern
Attractions like Salzburg and Krimmler Wasserfälle are not far away
Just a few minutes away from Großglocknerstrasse and Zell am See
We offer 2 newly appointed holiday apartments for 2 - 6 persons. Both with a balcony and beautiful views.

About Us
When you stay at our farm you will be away from the hustle and bustle and yet close to the large ski regions. Zell am See/Schmittenhöhe 15 minutes - Kaprun/Kitzsteinhorn 30 minutes - Gasteinertal 30 minutes - Saalbach-Hinterglemm 40 minutes by car.
You can visit all the ski regions in the state of Salzburg with the Salzburg Super Ski Card.
Whether you are a beginner or would like to improve your technique, our farm is just the place for you. We are all enthusiastic skiers and trained ski instructors.
If you book a ski course/private instruction directly with us you will receive a 10% discount at the Bruck ski school in Glocknerstraße.
There have been dairy cows on our farm for 100 years.
2021 we converting to mother-cow husbandry.
From october to may our cows and calves are "at home" in the barn, they look forward to every visit from you. If you feel like it, you are invited to get a little bit of stable air and get a taste of the everyday life of a mountain farmer in Pinzgau.
In the summer month our cows and calves are on "vacation" at the Pfarrachalm on the Großsonnberg. For this a few goats come to spend the summer with us, this year it will be 14 goats. Our cats and husky dog Amia are always on the farm.
