About Us
Our guesthouse is located the centre of Illmitz, and offers the ideal starting point for hikes and cycle rides in the national park. Enjoy an ample breakfast buffet and relax on sunny days on our cosy terrace.
To offer maximum relaxation, all rooms in are in a quiet position facing the back and are comfortably appointed.
Of course you can also travel here comfortably by rail or by air. We are happy to help with your journey here from the nearest railway station in Neusiedl am See, or from Vienna-Schwechat Airport.
Visit our family farm in Illmitz in the Burgenland, and experience the pleasant feeling of being very welcome and well looked after by all.

Surrounded by one of the world's most beautiful nature reserves, in the middle of Illmitz in the Burgenland, is a very special place: The Salzl family's vineyard.
On an area of 12 hectares, we produce our wines very naturally due to our proximity to the natural park, and use only a minimum of chemical sprays.
To make wine growing and its tasty products immediate to the senses and experience - has been the aim of this family business for decades. And that aim has been followed with dedication and without compromise - in commitment to the satisfaction of our guests.
Our wine varieties extend from crisp, fruity white wines, via full-bodied, robust red wines and exquisite, sweet styles. Convince yourself of the quality of our wines during a cosy wine tasting.
