Enjoy a few days in our home, in 3 new rooms equipped with all the mod cons (awarded 4 'flowers') and a view of the carefully restored inner courtyard. Sample a few drops from our stock in the cellar parlour. We are happy to serve up a tasty wine-growers' snack (for an extra charge and on advance request). "Experience" how a wine is made, all the way from the vine to the glass. We will tell you all you need to know on a walk through the vineyard and a cellar tour. Schrattenthal, the smallest wine town in Austria is an oasis of peace. Here is where you can relax and regain your strength. The well-built and signposted cycling network in the Retz area gives you the perfect chance to get active. For excursions into the surrounding area, we recommend Pulkau, Eggenburg and the district towns of Retz, Horn and Hollabrunn a little further away. See the world-famous cultural treasures and sights of Krems, the metropolis of the Wachau region, in just an hour by car. And Vienna is only a little bit further. We run our farm with vim and vigour, with love, enthusiasm and commitment.
