About Us
Quiet location set above the valley floor 1,200 m, boasting a spectacular view spanning to the Julian Alps. A lot of animals, primarily heritage livestock breeds - Tux-Zillertaler (cattle), Tauernschecken (goats), Schwäbisch-Hällische (pigs) and Altsteirer (chicken). Rabbits, cats and two dogs also call our farm their home.
In summer, we make hay, put the animals out to pasture, milk the cows, produce butter and curd cheese, bake bread ... there’s always something to be done. Kids (and adults) are always welcome to lend a helping hand.
On the second floor of our farmhouse, you’ll find two cosy holiday apartment that come with warm wood furnishings, a balcony or large terrace, respectively, and another double room. Opposite of the farmhouse, next to the barn, there’s a newly renovated holiday apartment called “Stadl-Wohnung” incl. a balcony facing the farmyard.
Our holiday apartments cannot be booked online. We prefer being contacted directly, having a chat with you and answering all the question that might arise beforehand.

Plenty of sunshine in winter!
Tranquility far away from crowded ski resorts - take winter walks, go tobogganing and relax on 1,200 m, high above the clouds and fog.
The valley view will reward you for the long way up to our farm. The undulating hills of the Nockberge Mountains in the north and a view spanning to the Julian Alps in Slovenia in the south - the view is breathtaking.
Our animals spend a lot of time outside, also in winter. They love moving around and enjoy the sunshine and so do we.

We focus on heritage livestock breeds that are well adapted to life in mountainous terrain: Tux-Zillertaler (cattle), Krainer Steinschafe (sheeps, Schwäbisch-Hällische (pigs), Steinhendl (chicken). We also have rabbits, cats and dogs!
