Feel at home at our alpine cottage. Especially in our Gaupe rooms which overlook the entire valley. Our cottage rooms are fitted with furniture made from local wood. One bedroom is even of Swiss stone pine wood. The pleasant scent of wood ensures a quiet and restful sleep. After a spectacular walk you can relax your muscles in the Finnish sauna.

The area in front of the cottage invites you to relax. For a more romantic atmosphere, we have an outdoor fireplace made of natural stones and a grill. We’ll give you a delicious cold meal with homemade specialities, free when you stay at least 5 nights.

There is also a small dairy farm at our alpine cottage. During the months of July and August, Grandpa Hans lives at the cottage and our guests have the opportunity to experience Alpine life first hand. We produce pasture milk and cheese products from our alpine meadows, for which we have already received 7 gold medals.

Advantage is: Grandpa Hans heats the cottage (July & August) and ensures that the power works. You are welcome to accompany him on his way to the pastures where our cows are. Our Grandpa knows just about everything there is to know about the landscape, Alpine life and is in the truest sense of the word, a real “Ambassador of the rural world”.

Location: in a wide valley basin at the Katschberg mountain in the Lieser-Malta Valley with views over the entire valley.
