About Us
Enjoy your time with the Hölzl family at the Streitenau mountain farm, directly on the Hohe Salve, one of the most beautiful mountains in Tyrol!
Unique and genuine experiences await you on our mountain in every season. Our farm is situated at approx. 1,200 m above sea level, the Streitenau is surrounded by a beautiful mountain world, you can enjoy a breathtaking view as soon as you get up. The middle station of the mountain railway is directly below our farm and thus offers the perfect starting point for many activities, for families, friends and all generations - in summer in the middle of the hiking area of the Kitzbühel Alps - Wilder Kaiser.
The two sunlight-flooded holiday flats are stylishly, sustainably and modernly furnished, with a particular focus on regional craftsmanship and materials, whereby we have also reused the wood and details of our previous 230-year-old farm building.

Unique and genuine experiences await you on our mountain in every season. Our farm is situated at approx. 1,200 m above sea level, approx. 6 km from the centre of Hopfgarten and is also accessible in winter. Streitenau is surrounded by a beautiful mountain world, you can enjoy a breathtaking view as soon as you get up.
Our farm is located directly next to the ski slope above the middle station of the Hopfgarten cable car and is thus the direct starting point for the Wilder Kaiser Brixental ski world. Be the first on the slopes - that's possible with us.
The two holiday flats are stylishly, sustainably and modernly furnished, with particular emphasis on regional craftsmanship and materials, whereby we have also reused the wood and details of our previous, 230-year-old farm building.
EXPERIENCE THE MOUNTAIN WORLD!
Knowing where it comes from! Regional, genuine and honest is also important to us. Experiencing where high-quality products come from and buying them directly is also a special experience when spending your holiday on our small-structured farm.
We offer the farm's own meat from "Qualität Tirol" Alpine cattle or from our pigs, as well as a snack sausage.
- We also offer other products and little things from regional producers.
- You can also order our farmhouse bread from the bakery.
- You are welcome to help yourself from the herb trough to refine your own dishes.
Also available:
- The small or large HOFSACKERL to order ~ filled with fresh farmhouse bread, eggs, cheese or sausage, Tyrolean butter, Hopfgartner honey, jam, pasta or other delicacies.
A farm holiday is something very special. Live with nature and discover!
Our animals are also at home on our farm.
From the end of September to the end of May, our calves, heifers and young animals are at the farm. In the free run, which they can use at any time, you can observe them well. In summer they go to the alpine pastures and the calves stay near us, above our farm "a da Wies".
The chickens and pigs are also looked after by us every day. The bunnies and cats are always happy about a little attention.
