About Us
Enjoy your holiday in a family atmosphere amidst the magnificent mountains of the Bregenzerwald.
The Haldenhof is situated on the sunny side of the valley at just under 800 metres above sea level. The small torrent next to the house and the panoramic view over the valley floor will inspire you.
Relaxing is very easy with us. The attic is a very special play area for younger guests, as is the farm's own playground in the garden directly in front of the house.
The outdoor swimming pool, the local children's playground and sports field are just a 10-minute walk away. From May to October, you will also receive the Bregenzerwald Guest Card for stays of three nights or more, with which you can use not only all outdoor pools and mountain railways in the region but also the public buses to the nearest towns of Dornbirn and Bregenz on Lake Constance free of charge. The bus stop is a stone's throw away from your flat.
We produce the popular Bregenzerwald mountain cheese in our own farm and alpine dairy. In summer you can get to know the alpine life on the Alpe Sattelegg.
We invite you to marvel at the small animals on the farm, stroke them and help out on the farm.

Enjoy your holiday in a family atmosphere in the middle of the beautiful mountains of the Bregenzerwald.
The Haldenhof is located in the southern part of Au in the Bregenzerwald. The panoramic view over the valley floor will inspire you.
The ski bus stop to the centre of winter (mountain railways and ski lifts, ski school, practice lift in the family-friendly Diedamskopf ski area in Au-Schoppernau) is just a stone's throw away from your flat.
After a day out in the fresh air, there's nothing better than cosy warmth. Relaxing is easy with us. The attic is a very special play area for our younger guests.
We are also happy to invite you to the stable with the animals, where petting and helping out is allowed.

The animals spend the summer on the farm's own alpine pasture, where we are happy about your visit and we also offer alpine tours and excursions for our house guests. There you also have the opportunity to watch the alpine dairyman at close quarters and directly during the production of typical regional alpine cheese.
In the large playroom in the attic as well as the garden with playground, the children will find endless possibilities to pass the time in any weather while the parents relax.
