About Us
The mountain cabin “Brunner-Hütte” is a newly renovated and lovingly furnished mountain cabin. Set on the alpine pastures called “Preisdorfer Wiesen” (1,670 m), it boasts stunning views of the lower Mölltal and Drautal valleys.
No matter if you’d like to relax on the terraces (facing east and west), go on a country walk on the plateau surrounding the cabin or set out on a hike, our “Brunner-Hütte” is the ideal spot for all of it.
It’s also a great place to get some rest after a demanding hike up the mountain Kampleck or even Reißeck. Dip your feet into the fresh spring water to refresh and enjoy a spectacular sunset against the mountain backdrop.

Farm Products - Die Brunnerin
Small but mighty - these words seem to fit if you know Susanne’s private dairy. From the farm’s daily 500 litres of organic milk, only a small portion is processed on site. The rest is delivered to the local dairy “Kärntnermilch”.
Everything Susanne makes with her own hands is expected to be of highest quality. Mass production would contradict this conviction. Traditional production methods and handmade quality are Susanne’s trademark. She’s a dedicated dairywoman.
And that’s how she heats, stirs and pasteurises milk. White cheese, creamy curd cheese, yoghurt, camembert, mozzarella, soft cheese in oil with herbs and garlic - taste the culinary delights that Susanne makes with a great deal of love.
We also offer honey from the local beekeeper and butter made by a farmer and friend from the village.
Please contact us if you’d like to get some of our farm products. Susanne will be happy to show you around her kitchen and tell you more about the production of her home-made delights.
