About Us
The murmuring of the stream, the tranquillity of the nature, the green meadows, the fresh mountain air, feeding and petting small animals - all this ensures that you will quickly forget the worries of everyday life. Relaxation amidst beautiful nature! Our farm with holiday apartment, which is located at an altitude of 890m above sea level, offers much freedom of movement! Where are the children? Playing with the go-kart or playing basketball! Or, maybe, in the stable with the animals: petting cats, spoiling the rabbits or collecting eggs from the nest! Exciting!
How about helping with harvesting the hay? Put on sturdy shoes and let's begin! Your rakes await!
And after work, let us have a barbecue on the green sun terrace and then play some table tennis or table football!
In summer, you can hike to our alpine pasture "Hochbruck", watch cows being milked, go on a guided tour of the mountain pasture museum and, possibly, spend a romantic night in the alpine cabin.
If your feet grow tired from all the walking, how about a foot bath in the nearby, shallow stream bed or a cool mountain water refresher? In the evenings, a conversation accompanied by a glass of home-made schnapps and real folk music. It is not surprising that everyone loves being here: families, friends of up to 7 persons or couples! (for max. 2 more people, sleeping on a sofa in the kitchen).

About Us
Our farm is easily reachable by car: 180 m from the main road and only 200 m from the stop for the ski bus, which offers a free service between the two ski resorts of Großarl-Dorfgastein and St.Johann/Alpendorf-Wagrain-Flachau, all accessible with the same ski pass! It is also only a few minutes' drive to the lifts.
Our farm with holiday apartment, which is located at an altitude of 890 m above sea level, offers much freedom of movement! Surrounded by snowy meadows, where the children can build snowmen or roll down the hill in the snow, and next to it there is a small toboggan run. Onto the sleigh, whoosh you're away! Who fancies a spot of snowshoeing on our alpine pasture? The fresh winter air, the crunch of the snow under your feet, crossing the tracks of wild animals and past snow-covered trees; it is as if you are passing through a fairytale world. After a good half an hour we discover a glade in the forest with a chapel and an area for feeding wild animals and birds. Shhh, perhaps we'll spot one of the animals! After approx. 15 minutes our alpine pasture comes into view. There in front of the hut we will enjoy our picnic, whilst taking in the sun and the wonderful panoramic view! Relaxation amidst beautiful nature!
It is now close to 5 pm! So we can head into the barn to watch the milking and to feed the small animals. Of course the rabbits, cats and co. also want to be stroked! Then we can pull on our wellies to take part in the milking competition and everyone will even receive a milking certificate! Come on let's have a couple of games of table tennis or table football in the heated recreation room!
And after so much fresh winter air you will have built up a real appetite for the range of delicious farm produce, and you might even be able to watch the farmer making cheese. Simply delectable! Cosy evening chatter is accompanied by a glass of home-made schnapps and real folk music. It's no surprise that families, couples and groups of up to 18 persons enjoy it so much here!

A cattle population of 30 - 35. 10 of the cows supply us with the best quality milk, the rest are still calves. The cows give birth for the first time at the age of approx. 2.5 years. They spend their summer on the alpine pasture, only the youngest 2 or 3 calves remain on the farm.
We have several cats which enjoy being stroked and our old cat "Sissi" gives birth to 2 to 4 small kittens every year.
And then there are also two cute dwarf rabbits as well as a guinea pig. They all enjoy being spoilt!
We have a small flock of chickens supplying us with fresh free-range eggs as well as a proud rooster!
Last but not least, there is a pig called "Wuzi", who likes to be fed with leftovers, whey and fresh grass!
