The nature experience starts right outside the front door, no matter, grab a sled or snowshoes. The winter wonderland offers so much. Ski is key here in our region. Whether it be at Kühtai or Hochötz. For young and old, there's simply something for everyone. You don't know the area? No problem. Farmer Alois takes the time to show you the most beautiful slopes or goes with you to our alpine pasture.
Arriving at Marlstein? The children are already having their first snowball fight. The holiday has begun. Relax and have fun. Go on a torchlit walk through the forest and listen to the crackling of snow under the feet. Frolic through the snow and discover the friendly animals. Children can have so much fun. Breakfast also tastes quite different up here. We have such a lot to offer. The fresh milk, brought directly from the cows.. It makes muesli taste especially good. How good can farmer's butter and farmer's yoghurt taste? Simply delicious.
And to fortify yourself during the day. We will be happy to give you a snack to take with you. Fresh bread, bacon, Alpine cheese. You can taste nature.
The most tender meat from our animals, freshly prepared - you know exactly what you're getting on your plate.

Our animals are very important to us. We are the highest-altitude cattle farm in Austria with cows and calves, and the entrance area to our guest house is decorated with the many awards which they have won at exhibitions.
Our petting zoo for children is very important for learning how to handle animals. Our three ponies, our donkey Emil, the rabbits and the ducks, as well as the pygmy goats and their kids and dwarf Alpine sheep and their young all await your visit.
