Welcome to Our Farm Maurerhäusl in the Salzkammergut Region
Are you looking for a place to camp with your tent, campervan or mobile home? Are you looking for a break from streets & traffic? It’s a beautiful place on Earth here, surrounded by meadows, a small stream, forests and mountains.
Our idyllic horse farm is set in the heart of the Salzkammergut region - a destination that leaves nothing to be desired! The place surrounded by beautiful pastures and a burbling stream is an oasis of peace and comfort. Our Haflinger horses and ponies are looking forward to your visit and a bit of tender loving care.
We offer our guests 6 spacious parking sites for campervans/mobile homes and 6 places for tents with a view of the mountains Traunstein, Erlakogel and Höllengebirge. The beach at Lake Traunsee is only a 5 minutes’ drive by bicycle. All the parking sites are equipped with electricity (220V). The campsite features sanitary facilities incl. showers, dryer and washing machine as well as free Wi-Fi. In addition, there’s a small spa area incl. sauna, solarium, summer house and a covered courtyard to romp and play.

During school holidays, we offer a great programme for children: nature week, tipi, petting zoo, horse-riding lessons & much more! Plus, we offer forest, health and movement days for the whole family.
Forest Kindergarten on the Farm
Since 2019, there’s a nature-oriented group in the local kindergarten Traunkirchen. Every day of the week, they spend the mornings in almost any weather in the forest, here, at our farm Maurerhäusl. The concept of this nature-oriented group is similar to a forest kindergarten or outdoor nursery. It’s emphasised that nature is the best environment for a child’s development. There’s plenty of space to play, discover and romp around. All of a child’s senses are stimulated, the noise pollution is considerably lower than indoors and those who are outside in any weather strengthen the body’s immune system.
