About Us
In the middle of the small village of Waidegg, in a very picturesque location, is our organic farm Malerhof.
An ancient pear tree leans its branches over the front door. It provides shade for holiday guests seeking relaxation to enjoy the afternoon coffee on the wooden bench with a leisurely chat. Tomatoes, cabbage and cucumbers grow in the cottage garden, the scent of thyme from the herb snail gently wafts by and the colourful flowers on the wooden balcony evoke inner peace. The cats also like to use the afternoon break for a nap under the pear tree. They like to be pampered with cuddles.
There are many other journeymen at the Malerhof: Two Haflinger mares enjoy their existence on the farm and look attentively at you through the wooden hearts in the horse stable. The silky hens lay their eggs in the nests provided for this purpose. Our guests are allowed to take the eggs out of the nests themselves. Our suckler cows have a free-range barn and the calves are kept together with the dams.
Three generations live under one roof at Malerhof. Accordingly, there is always movement here and our guests can always find a contact person. While mum consults with farmer's wife Helga about the farmer's garden, dad helps farmer Fritz with the field work and the children are quickly integrated into the play in the village and on the farm. The horses are braided, stones are painted and sand cakes are diligently baked in the play hut.
About Us
The Nassfeld ski area is only a few minutes away from the property. A ski area with many long runs and wide slopes awaits you. Refreshments and attractions for those who love action. In the valley you can also go ice skating, cross-country skiing, tobogganing...
At our accommodation you can easily get the ski tickets at a reasonable price without a long waiting time.
