Styria
Holidays in the green heart of austria
In Styria, there’s no need to travel long distances if you want to experience the blissful sights of lofty mountains, the majestic Dachstein glacier and picturesque, green alpine pastures in the Murtal valley. Healthy thermal springs in the east or crisp white wines to be tasted on the South Styrian Wine Road. These charming contrasts aside, Styria is also known as Austria’s finest deli. Horseradish, runner beans (known here as “beetle beans”), grapes and pumpkins are the culinary ambassadors. They are served up in the restaurants and wine taverns as delightfully creative dishes. Burgenland
