Farms, Mountain Cabins & Chalets in the Bregenz Forest
Have you ever heard of the “Cheese Road” through the Bregenz Forest? The region is renowned for producing excellent cheese. You can try them here! The diverse hiking trails and themed walks are ideal for burning the calories afterwards. For example the “Alpgang” (“walk to the mountain cabin”) in Au-Schoppernau or the “Geißenweg” (“goat trail”) in Bizau. This comes in handy: From May until October, guests staying a minimum of 3 nights will get a guest card offering free rides with cable cars and busses as well as free entry to public pools. In winter, you can ski down the pistes, go ski touring or walk through the winter wonderland. Do you like classical music? Enjoy great concerts at the music festival “Schubertiade” in Schwarzenberg.
